Who We Are

Founded in 2020, the 44.5 Foundation empowers families and communities worldwide through education, technology, and targeted outreach. Informed by the strategic discipline of 44.5 Strategies and grounded in a legacy of giving, we design and deliver sustainable, community-led solutions at the intersection of innovation and social impact.

We partner with educators, technology leaders, and grassroots organizations to co-create solutions that reflect the needs and priorities of the communities we serve. This collaborative approach ensures that our investments are locally informed, scalable, and built for long-term impact.

Driven by a commitment to shared responsibility and measurable outcomes, the 44.5 Foundation cultivates connected, resilient ecosystems where families are supported, communities are empowered, and future leaders are equipped to succeed. Our mandate is clear: transform potential into progress and translate compassion into sustainable, measurable change.

Since inception, the Foundation has:

  • Distributed 100+ meals through community food drives, addressing food insecurity and supporting families in need
  • Provided 1200+ books and 3000+ sets of school supplies to students, promoting literacy and educational readiness
  • Coordinated 6 clothing drives, delivering essential items to individuals and families across underserved communities
  • Supported 2000+ students through education, digital access, and outreach programs

A Voice of Hope

“We, the less privileged, are used to people making promises and not keeping them. It’s refreshing to see an NGO that actually keeps to its word of doing a food drive monthly.  May Allah bless all your hard work.”

During one of the hardest seasons of my life, I chose to rise with purpose. I set out to build something meaningful—turning struggle into impact. With over 20 years as a technologist and coach, I’ve seen how mentorship, discipline, and innovation can unlock opportunities.

That vision led me to create both a company and a nonprofit centered on service and empowerment. The 44.5 Foundation was born to uplift families, strengthen communities, and use technology for good.

Today, the mission continues to grow—proving that even in our toughest moments, we can build something that inspires change.

“Empowering communities through mentorship, innovation, and giving back.”

Over the past year, the 44.5 Foundation has become a steady source of support for communities in Cameroon, West Africa. I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the relief, gratitude, and hope our work brings—where food is essential and quality education is scarce.

What began as a simple desire to help has grown into a movement that uplifts families, restores dignity, and reminds communities they are not forgotten. Each encounter reinforces that true impact isn’t just in numbers, but in the lives we touch.

The Foundation is more than support—it’s a symbol of possibility.

“I amdedicated to making a difference in hte lives in the lives of those i encounter.”

Lydia Food Drive

“Every time when we organize these donation drives, it is truly a labor of love. I cannot thank the people at 44.5 Foundation enough for allowing me to join them to bring so much relief to so many. Special thanks to Mr Conroy and Mr Ahmed for loving our people the way he does!”

Ma Evelyne Food Drive

“Nobody bothers about ever asking me what my Christmas wishes are. When Miss Zulay came calling about the donation I was not sure what to think. I thank God for the food I’ve received today because they will be front and center for the holidays for my husband and children.”
